Born in Mauritius on May 19, 1999, Ilario Visconti Armel (Ila Rio).
He grew up in a family where music was central, inspired by his father Mario Armel who is a great artist in Mauritius.
From the age of 3, Ilario began to develop a passion for drums. The young musician quickly learned rock music.
He therefore began lessons at the François Mitterrand Conservatory where he learned to improve in the musical field. He received a distinction at London Music College (Grade 8) in music theory and drums.
In 2015, Ilario fell seriously ill and was told that he would not be able to exercise physically for a few months because of his operation. Subsequently he decided to learn the guitar and compositions, and therefore decided to sing on his compositions.
He therefore released his first album in 2018
Named “Liberte”. He received a Mauritius National Award nomination, Best song 2018. With the song 'Viv to la vi'
He signed a distribution contract with Universal Music Africa for the distribution of the title 'Sanze' which was released in 2022.
He draws his inspiration from Mario Armel, Mura Masa and Stromae.
Ilario starts beatmaking in 2022 and carries out several projects for companies and for personal purposes.
